As one might expect from such an intelligent and physically capable breed, SeasonStar known to be formidable hunters. Because of his kittypet heritage, he adores toys and can play for hours with a mouse that he is pretending his is favourite squeeky toy from long ago whenever no one is around. Other than what his breed's personality is, SeasonStar gets quite mello if someone tries to bring up or question his kittypet past. Just like the story of Firestar joining Thunderclan after giving up his kittypetness, SeasonStar has the same story... Well, somewhat. His mother, father, and siblings and grandmother were all kittypets, so he is a 100% Kittypet. Well, in his blood, at least. Because of this, his mother, father, and the rest of his family were pureblood Abyssinian cats. His mother was a cream Abyssinian. His father was a chocolate Abyssinian. His grandmother was a lilac Abyssinian. His still born sister, Fawn, was a sorrel Abyssinian like him. Sadly, she wasn't able to even see him. SeasonStar's only living sister, Hazel, was a rare toroiseshell Abyssinian. Finally, his brother, Grovle (that was Gravitepaw's name at the time), was a red Abyssinian. SeasonStar, well Season at the time, never really liked the life as a kittypet. Grovle didn't either. Their housefolk never let them roam around outside, unless they had their harnesses and leashes on. Season would always pester his father to show him where the secret way to the outside world was, and Grovle always helped him. His father, however, never told them. When the two couldn't get another word out of their father, they would always bound off to fing Nana. She would always tell them stories about the time before they were born. At times, she would even start to tell them about the day their mother and father first met. The two brothers didn't like that at all. It was always the same thing: Rosen's housefolk took her out into the nearby woods for a stroll. They found themselves lost, and Vigor came to the rescue. It was love at first site for them, and Vigor kept coming to the house to see Rosen. Rosen's housefolk took in Vigor, and about eighteen moons later, they came along. It was always the same; however, Nana would have her moments, so she would add on something strange, like this: "And, there he was. A tall chocolate Abyssinian, standing tall and proud. The stray tom leapt down from the tree he was perched in and stood infront of Rosen and the housefolk. He beckoned with his head for them to follow, and they did. Then, a huge bear leapt out, but the stray tom faught him off without getting a scratch on him." Season and Grovle would always whine and complain about how that wasn't in the story before. Nana would always stare at them with a confused look. It was as if she didn't know what they were talking about. Nana was, after all, ninety-eight moons at that time.
One cold Leaf-Bare morning, Season had just turned six moons of age. His housefolk were moving houses. Now, why would they do that? The sorrel Abyssinian would always ask himself that. As the housefolk were packing up their things, Season noticed that his father was missing. He went up to his mother and asked: "Mother? Where's Papa?" This made Rosen very distressed. The two gathered up Grovle and Hazel. They didn't include Nana in this, for she was getting too old to be searching for someone; however, she joined in by wandering off to search. The family of Abyissinians scattered throughout the house, searching through boxes, behind doors, and in places where Vigor might have been. Their housefolk started noticing this, so they counted the different cats who went by. There were only five. They noticed that Vigor was missing at this time, so they started looking as well. They weren't the "Oh, he'll show up sooner or later" kind of people. They were always paranoid when one of the cats went missing. Season, after shoving himself under a dresser, found a hole in the wall. Through the hole he could see daylight. There was a light layer of snow on the ground, and everything seemed quite... Almost too quite... The hole in the wall was just large enough for him to squeeze through. His brother and sister saw his tail go through the hole, so they followed. They scattered again, searching in all directions. Hazel stayed close to the house, while Season and Grovle searched farther and farther away. The two met up at a huge pond that was a good three miles away from their house at sunset. They were both tired, hungery, and skittish. They had never been that far away from home before. The two decided to try and have a go at hunting. Season caught a raven, while vole. The fresh-kill was already starting to thin out because of the lack of food they could have had, but the brothers ate the kill anyways. It tasted strange to them, but it was also mouth-watering with flavor. After the two ate, they slept in a makeshift nest, made of the moss and random feathers near the pond.
It was the next morning, and they were still by the pond. Season was up first, so he decided to go hunting. About thirty-something minutes later, he arrived back at where their nest was with a rather plump Thrush, a skinny Mouse, and a Fish. He didn't like the whole fishing thing, but the pond did have the most food. The sorrel tom prodded his brother awake, and they ate. After they finished their meal, they trudge on through the now three inches deep layer of snow. They didn't know where home was at that point, so they followed where the sun was rising from. About a week later, the two had gone a good twenty-eight miles from their home. They arrived at a huge area, which was filled with forests, moorland, muddy areas, and a huge lake in the middle of it all. Season nudged his weakening brother onwards to the nearest cover of trees. They past some strange scent markers, but they didn't even know that it was there. Season and Grovle were about ten fox-lengths into the forest when a strange cat appeared. A strong scent of herbs wafted around the she-cat. She asked who the brothers were and why they were there. After Season told her their story, the she-cat understood. She she-cat gave her name as TwistedPath. TwistedPath trotted up to the brothers and sniffed them up and down. "You both still have your tom scent, and most of your kittypet scent has disappeared... Maybe... Follow me." That was all the she-cat had to say. Season and Grovle followed after her. The cat took them through an entrance that led into a clearing. There were stone walls surrounding the clearing, and the brothers felt more secure now. However, they were stared down by the other cats in the clearing. This was all so new to them. Grovle leaned his head a bit more towards Season and whispered: "Didn't Nana tell us a story about... Oh, what were they called... Clans? The clans that traveled far from their home and ended up by a lake? Do you think that this is one of the clans?" Season had to ponder on this. Their grandmother told a lot of stories; however, the ones about the clans were his favourites. This time, Season whispered to Grovle. "Yeah, I remember. There was Thunderclan, Riverclan, Shadowclan, and Windclan. They even had ancestors who lived in the sky! Oh, what did they call them... Starclan! That means that the she-cat with the scent of herbs all around must be a medicine cat. Nana did say that the scent of herbs either meant that they were near them a lot because of sickness, or they were a medicine cat." This made both of them very excited. Just being near one of the clans made their dreams come true.
The she-cat came to a halt in the middle of the clearing, and the brothers stopped right beside her. The clan cats stayed away from them, but a large tom cat stalked up to them. "TwistedPath! What is the meaning of this?! Do you think that bringing loners into our clan's camp will do any good?! What if--." The tom's gruff voice was cut off but another cat's yowl. Everyone, even the large tom cat, turned towards the noise. There, infront of a large one-cat den, stood the leader of the clan. "JaggedRock, you shouldn't judge what our honored Medicine Cat does without first hearing her story. I'm sure that she had a good reason as to why she brought them." Season and Grovle almost cowered by how much the leader's voice boomed around the clearing. It was almost as if the cat had the voice of thunder. TwistedPath stepped forwards after the leader stopped talking. "ThunderStar." The leader had the exact name of the very first leader of Thunderclan. So, Season thought, We now know that the stories about the clans are true... TwistedPath cleared her throat and started to speak again. "I brought these two here because they were weak, and this one, named Grovle, seems to be a bit ill. You know how hard it is for me to just ignore an ill kit." Season heard his brother snort at the word kit. The Medicine cat talked for a few moments more, telling the story that Season had told her when they met. The leader nodded to TwistedPath and beckoned her and the Deputy into his den. The two pure Abyssinians huddled together while the clan cats continued to stare at them. A small kit bounded forwards. "Hey, kittypet! I never knew a kittypet could travel that far! You must really love your father!" The little kit had stared up at the two with large round eyes. Grovle spoke up after a long thought of what to say. "Well, of course! He was the best! Wouldn't you do the same if your father went missing?" With Grovle's question, the kit pricked its ears and bristled a bit of its fur. "If my father went missing, I would look for him, too!" The kit's mother trotted up to the three and hushed the blabbering kit with her tail. "Heh. I'm sorry, she likes to talk." Season and Grovle chuckled as the kit kept trying to talk more and more. A few moments later, the Medicine Cat, Deputy, and Leader came out of the Leader's den. "After talking about it, we have come to an agreement. If you two traveled as far as you have said that you have and that you were able to sucessfully hunt, then you two would make fine additions to the clan. We are not making you join, since you are looking for your father, but Thunderclan needs more warriors. You would be starting out as Apprentices." As the Thunderclan leader talked, a group of cats started to murmer together crossly. This had confused Season. They should be listening to their leader, not talking. Anyways, Season and Grovle accepted joining Thunderclan. Hey, it was better than the boring kittypet life. The next day, Thunderstar held an apprentice ceramony. This really confused the two with the whole "change your name to show what rank you are" thing, but they had to go along with it. Season's name was changed to Seasonpaw, and Grovle's name was changed to Gravitepaw. Seasonpaw felt sorry for his brother. Now, Gravitepaw didn't have the name that his mother and father gave him. It was sort of like losing a part of who you are. Seasonpaw was given RavenFlight as a mentor, and Gravitepaw was given SpiralStep as a mentor.
A few moons later, when Seasonpaw and Gravitepaw were only ten moons old, the two were out on an assessment. They had to hunt on their own and find as much food as possible. It was early New-Leaf, so the prey was slowly returning. After their mentors left the brothers, they split up. Seasonpaw headed towards the lake to find prey, while Gravitepaw went towards the old house that was farther into Thunderclan Territory. As Seasonpaw was stalking a mouse, the whole territory seemed to rumble underneath him. His ears pricked as he pinpointed the location it came from. The old house. Seasonpaw bolted for the ruins of the house, leaving the prey. Once he got there, his eyes widened with horror. A huge chunk of the vine-cover wall had plummeted to the ground below. The Abyssinian stumbled towards the heap of rock. There, sticking out from underneath the rubble, was a long red-brown tail. "N... No... Not Gravitepaw..." Seasonpaw started digging at the rubble, scattering the broken peices of rock away. The sight he saw was just... Abhorrent... His brother was completely flattened, with his bones crushed and skull completely caved in. Seasonpaw stumbled backwards. He threw his head up to the dark clouds that had formed in the sky and yowled with greif. "Seasonpaw!" RavenFlight and SpiralStep bolted from the bushes. The warriors ushered him away from the sight and into the camp. RavenFlight excorted the appentice into the Medicine Cat den to get something to calm him down, while SpiralStep bounded away to the Leader's den to report what happened.
Another few moons later, Seasonpaw became SeasonTree. Another few moons later, he started mentoring his first apprentice. ANOTHER few moons later, that apprentice became a warrior. On that day, the old Deputy mysteriously died of an unknown illness. SeasonTree was then appointed as Deputy. When ThunderStar died, he became leader. There... You are now caught up with his life.
