A small flame colored tom was eating a small mouse in the clearing. Flashpaw glanced up and looked around camp. It had an eerie silence lately. He stodd up and buried the bones of his meal, then began to pad around. He sighed, "Why is it so boring?!" he yowled into the wind.

Try to put an end to all our doubt At the sound of an apprentice yowling, a broad sorrel head poked out of the Leader's Den. "If you think it's so boring," the Abyssinian tom mewed in responce, "then find something to do." SeasonStar stepped out of the darkness of his den, showing his full sorrel body.
ooc: oh em gee, this fails. Flashpaw needs a mentor, and SeasonStar is the only other cat here... should SeasonStar be his mentor? -tilts head-

Flashpaw looked at Seasonstar. "How would I do that if there is nothing to do!" he objected. He turned and looked around. Maybe I should find something to do....But what? he thought to himself.

"Hmm..." The Thunderclan leader sighed. The sorrel tom trotted forwards to the center of the clearing and towards Flashpaw. "Then, how about we go hunting?" He offered, tilting his head.

The tom's eye's brightened up, "That'd be great!" Flashpaw purred. Then his smile dissappeared, "A-actually, I can't..." he said. He didn't know how to hunt. After all he didn't have a mentor yet, "I cant hunt..."he said admittedly. Flashpaw looked up at his leader, hoping Seasonstar wouldn't laugh at him.

SeasonStar tilted his head at Flashpaw's statement. "Can't hunt? Every cat can hunt! It's instinct. If you just try, you'll get the hang of it in no time." A soft purr rumbled in the leader's thoat. He has full kittypet blood in him, yet he was able to hunt when he and his brother, Gravitepaw, were far from home.
